Born from a cancer recovery that drew national attention, The Lifted Project is a musical event built on the singular talent of the musicians of the Hudson Valley.
Each year the finest solo artists gather to form a choir and perform an original, unrehearsed song. As the event grew, we have added guitar symphonies, children's choirs, funk jams, and non-religious testimonials from the audience about being lifted by the grace of other people.
Now in our fourth year, The Lifted Project is celebrated on a national level and being replicated throughout the country.
The Lifted Project accepts no money ever, whatsoever. Our team is fully volunteer and any expenses are gifted. Rather, our non profit partners sell a block of tickets to the event and fund raise at the event itself.
